I have a 2 year old asus motherboard from an HP media center M1180N-
motherboard specs are below (from HP site).
My question is would an Intel Pentium 4 640 3.2GHz 800MHz cpu work
(intel #BX80547PG3200F)? This cpu also has HT but has the Intel EM64T -
64 bit processing available, would that simply not be utilized by the
motherboard?
Can't find any info on the ASUS or Intel sites. Original cpu was
damaged, and was an Intel Pentium 4 550 3.4GHz 800 MHz with HT, 32 bit
processor.
