#1 Drive was not designed for SCSI it is an IDE utility.
#2 have you tried using the on board SCSI utilities?
#3 if you cant see the drive accept in device manager you might try Norton
Utilities diskedit to look at it. if you cant see it with diskedit in
physical mode then its pretty much a doorstop.


The drive is definitely SCSI.....the onboard utilities do not detect
it..........however I have been able to set the drive up under it's settings
as a removeable drive, assign it a letter, format it and it works fine
although it is certainly not a removeable drive????? It seems to work fine
like this but not sure why.
