My 1998 DELL Dimension Computer has several hard drives: C,D,E and F. C
is where all new programs seem to go so it is pretty full with about 2 MB
of space remaining. D & E are not full at all and F is rather full.

Because C was so full, I recently purchased an external drive with 60 GB
of storage. It presently still has about 57 GB remaining.

I tried to keep all my programs on my hard drive and move any documents I
have created to the external drive. As it turned out, that did not open
up much space on my hard drive.

I use Microsoft Front Page and it has been working mighty slow. I finally
loaded that program onto my external drive and it still is mighty slow.

What can I do to speed up my computer so I do not have to wait 2 minutes
to get the curser to move as it finishes the last command, such as copying
5 short words)?

Thanks

Karen Miller
