Win95b has Drivespace3 as part of the package.  I would try to boot using a
borrowed boot disk to salvage the files you need (utilizing all your old DOS
skills).  You could then fdisk the new disk (avoid fat32, as your OS won't
take it) and format the disk from your OS.....
