I have recently started using the hibernate function rather than shutting
down the computer. This makes the startup very much faster (14 seconds vs. 2
minutes). On my last startup, I did note that my time was off. Is there any
reason for not using hibernate instead of shutdown? Of course, after
shutdown you will get a clean load of drivers on booting. But if the system
is running fine, I see no reason to reboot.
