I have not done the upgrade on any other of my machines but I have on my
Compaq Presario 2100 which is a 2.4 Ghz P4 512Mb ram XP Home laptop
system. All went fine. I will say that while I was doing the 75MB
download on battery, the darn system would not install the update while
on battery. A day or two later I had to charge the battery and the
updater ask if I wanted to install the update. No problems so far.
