Thanks Rick,

It appears the entire capacity of the dirve is filled with partition 1,
however the fdsik program which came with Redhat 6.2 reports that:

"Partition 1 has different physical/logical endings
phys=(782,254,63) logical = (783, 254,63)"

Partitions 2, 3, 4 are empty

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
