  Bundling motherboard and CPU together may not get you exactly the 
combination you would prefer, but it's a good way to make sure you have 
someone you can complain to if they aren't compatible with each other, and 
the bundle can often sve you a bit of money, too.
  Many cases that come with power supplies retail for less than a really 
good power supply alone does.  (We could therefore draw some conclusions 
about the quality of the included power supplies....)  So although it seems 
like a bit of a waste, it's not entirely unreasonable to buy a case with a 
power supply, and swap it out for the X-Finity.  Keep the old one as a 
spare, or donate it to a garage sale....
