        Boy this a pain !!

I finally figured out how to get the CR-ROM drivers loaded (even went so
far as to make up a disk image of a Windows 98 Boot Disk and exchange all
the ATAPI drivers for the old Matsushita driver).

I have reformated the hard drive, rebooted on the installation boot disk,
got the CD-ROM online but the whole install still freezes up just after the
disclaimer screen in the Windows install (tried both Win95 and
Win98.......same result).

I don't get it.......I have been butting heads with this thing for days
now.......If I paid myself minimum wage for the time I have spent with this
I could have bought a new machine :(

        Any ideas?
