After unsuccessfully installing WinMe upgrade from Win98SE on a computer (computer froze while installation)I rebooted the machine. It starts to boot and then I get the message: It is now safe to turn off your computer. It then shuts down. The computer is a Compaq PII 350mhz. I've tried a WinMe boot disk and a Win98Se boot disk but it does not work. I also tried to change the boot sequence, still did not work. What's my next step?
