HI,

Other than the fact that windows 98 se does not support USB 2.0 and the
External hard drive will be very slow transferring data, it should work.

You may want to upgrade the older machine to windows 2000 pro or XP to
get the full benefits of USB 2 data transfer.

I want to purchase an external hard drive (USB2) and install win98se on
it.  I run XP home edition on the main computer but have programs that
are not compatible.  Do you see any problems that I may come up against?
