I'm using ASUS P/I-P55T2P4 and AMD K6-2,350mhzCPU,BIOS#401A0-0207-2 - patch
J.2 04/27/2002 - 04/28/99,Win98se,40GB HDD,128MB MEM,

I recently bought 2 video cards for this machine both Visiontek:1) Xtasy 5564
gforce2 MX400 64MB PCI (retail).When that one did'nt work, I got this, 2)
nVIDIA TNT2 M64 16MB SDRAM PCI (oem).When I inserted these cards, Nothing
came up on the display, even the BIOS menu didn't show up. It doesn't work at
all. But strangely enough, you could hear hard drive being accessed and
Windows seemed to boot up with no video signal output. However, I inserted
these cards into a new machine and they worked! This means that the cards do
work. Does anybody have an experience of using a 64mb,32mb,16mb,video card in
the ASUS P55T2P4? Is there any solution to make these cards work on this
wonderful old board? I had updated the BIOS of T2P4 to the latest. Do you
think I should give up with these video cards(Visiontek) and go to another
one? My 4MB video card needs to be replace. Any information is highly
appreciated. Thanks for any help in advance.
