Steve,
You will have to change your boot sequence, which can be done in the
BIOS. Depending on your system, you will have to press DEL or F2 when you
system first starting to boot to get to setup (BIOS). Once you are in BIOS,
examine the options you have (BIOS menus varied for different systems),
there should be one that labeled boot sequence (or something similar), and
that's where you can change which drive to boot from first. Good luck.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Boot from hard drive

I have a Gateway e4600 with Windows ME UGH! I downloaded Linspire 5.0 from
my other computer and burned a trial copy to load into my Gateway. The
problem is the Gateway doesn't boot from a CD it boots from the A drive. Can
I change it to boot from the CD ROM? If so how?
Thank you for your help
