Hello all!

Just a quick (I hope) question. I am helping a B&B owner contemplate using a
wireless access point to enable more coverage at his establishment. Right
now he uses a Westell router/modem with wireless provided by his ISP,
Verizon. Alas, the signal doesn't reach the upper floors. The question: does
the wireless access point (which will likely sit two floors above the
router) have to be connected to the router via cable, or can they attach to
the network wirelessly and then rebroadcast the signal?

Thank you for your time and thought on this.
