  I just installed a new Western Digital hard drive and now my A drive doesn't work. When I go to MY COMPUTER and click on A the computer freezes up. I unplugged the ribbon cable going to the mother board and it still freezes up. I'm running Windows ME on a HP computer. The computer originally had a 60 MB drive but the new one is 160 MB (only 127MB recognized). I reinstalled Windows but the same thing happens. Any suggestions?
