I bought a Duron 700 and Giga-7IXE4 which have AMD 751
north bridge and AMD 756 as south which is IDE controller and make me alot of
problem!when I install the CD rom Utility(amd chip driver)it make
Hard Drive Controllers as AMD-756 Bus Master IDE Controller V1.32
      Primary Bus master IDE Controller
      Secondary Bus master IDE Controller
when I restart my computer the system halted with bad noise from my CD-ROM
(it is Acer)!!!!!!! I restart it safe mode and Disable the secondary Bus Master

controller and with some difficulty use my CR-Rom Driver(in config.sys)to
run my cd-rom
it is very uncommon that IDE Controller Driver just support Hard Disk!
it is for 7-14-2000!
buy now my hard are working well!

I try to reinstall AMD chip Utility but it gave me an error that it has been
installed before!
now I can use my CD-rom in Disable secondary Bus but it's speed is drooped
badly and also I can't view the Hole name of file in windows!
just the first 8 character(like DOS)!!!!!!!!!!
MY OS is win 98 SE
I really don't know what to do
would you please help me
