Had trouble booting. Replaced CD Rom which wouldn't always work. Received a
message on check up that Hard Drive was going bad so replaced. Would lock up
at  start of Windows. Copied old hard drive to new. Lost much data in the
process.  Can't get plug and play to finish on reinstalling windows thus sound,
printer,  scanner and camera won't work. Left computer sit over night. In morning
booted  OK and am able to write this. Afraid to shut down for fear it will
not reload.  Power unit new a year or so ago. Running HP Pavilion 8650C with
98SE. Hard drive  16G ( new 80G) 256 Ram. Went in to BIOS and set to default
values. Had used  system restore on old hard drive.
