 Hi All;

I have a few Intel SE440BX OEM motherboards made for Micron .
I want to flash the bios on these Micron mobos with the latest regular
intel SE440BX bios flash?
I tried it once with the recovery jumper removed , the "Scan user
Flash Area"
option enabled in bios and a bootable floppy with the flash hooked to
the board,
it beeped and the floppy drive lite came on and ran for 10 minutes or
so, but it never shutoff.
when I rebooted I had the same micron bios - 4S4EB0X1.05A.0007.P04
I've done this before on some Intel/Gateway AN430 OEM boards and it
worked fine
but it doesn't seem to work on these.

I'm mainly trying to get rid of the Micron name in the bios text at
bootup.
I know how to disable the micron splash screen, but don't want it
to show if the bios is reset.
Ideas?

Thanks
