I have been trying to create an XP boot disk using a ZIP drive. I don't
want just a boot startup disk such as a floppy can do - that one
finishes the boot on the hard drive. I want the ZIP disk to have the
entire OS - of course a regular install of XP will not fit, but a
recovery console is sufficient for what I want to do. However, I can't
seem to get it to boot. The disk starts booting and then stops with a
blank screen. Any ideas or suggestions? Has anyone done this already? If
not XP, how about earlier versions of NT?

Thanks.

Peter
