A while back I wrote that I was having problems with the resolution on my
Sony CPD 100ES. The monitor is tacting at 100 Hz. and should only go up to
85Hz. No one could give me a solution on this. With a little
experimentation I found that if I change the monitor from the Sony to a
Standard Super [log in to unmask] that I don't have this problem with any of the
games or at optimal resolution GREAT!! Now the question is how can I prevent
Windows from trying to reinstall the Sony monitor or saying unknown monitor.
I want the Super VGA as standard. This shouldn't be to complicated I just
don't know how. Thanks for any hints.
