I use a Diamond Stealth II G460 on a DFI super seven board.
DFI had posted a patch file for the VIA VP3 chipset on the
website to fix the problem with Intel i760 graphics chip video
cards. The chipset revision installed on my board already had
the fix.  I bought that DFI board in september 1998.
If you thumb through the different websites for motherboard
manufacturers, many of them claim to have the Intel i760 problem
fixed.  You should try locating the fix for your Soyo Mobo.
