While I read the original thread on this topic, I don't really remember the
details. While all IDE controllers that I have seen can run two IDE and no
more than two devises from each IDE port, I have seen several systems that
only have one IDE port. If this is the case and this system has an IDE
CD-ROM, then his system would only be able to support one more IDE devise
that being one IDE hard drive.
