Hi,
Computationally, my father has been having an awful time of late.
The configuration that worked before a power surge won't work again. He
has shipped his HD here and I have overcome all but one problem: A
phantom drive letter under win95 OSR2.1
Due to what products are available under what platform... he has to dual
boot between OS's.
On a 14 GB IDE drive, Partitioned as follows
PQ's Boot Manager
WinNT 4 (3 GB NTFS)
Win95 2.1 (2 GB FAT 16)
EXtended:
   FAT16 2gb
   NTFS 7.x GB

The 7.5 GB logical drive gets mapped a drive letter under 95. I have to
manually hide same to make the problem go away. (5 has already spazzed
over this and flipped itself into compatability mode making my CDROM
drives disappear.
I did not create the extended partition until after I'd applied SP4 to
NT as without SP4, NT could only see 8GB. Partition Magic 3.02 is
still perfectly happy with my partition table so I don't think the table
is buggered up... yet! I need a permanent way to make 95 stop trying to
map that NTFS partition. Any inspiration? Is there a way to see if
large disk support is enabled under 95 and can it be done _without_
converting the FAT16 partitions to FAT32?

Thanks all!
Matthew
