There is no right or wrong on your question, so it is impossible to give you
a "right" advice without known exactly what do you want.

NTFS is a healthier system than FAT (include FAT12, FAT16, FAT32), and
offers good security.  FAT32 has lower overhead, but offers no security, and
easier to corrupt.  The argument between NTFS and FAT32 never end, each side
is standing on different point of view.  Myself vote on NTFS, but cannot
against FAT32 either.

In response to Frederick's comment, you can always use win2k or XP CD to do
the format, so unless you are willing to access info on HDD under DOS, you
shouldn't worry.
