pentium II processor swap

I currently am using a pentium II 350 processor on a gigabyte ga-6bxc
motherboard.

Can I use a pentium III processor on this motherboard?

What is the difference between a boxed pentium II 450 mhz chip  and one
that is called a boxed pentium II 450 SECC 2 package ?  They both are
listed as slot 1 processors. Can I use either one of these processors,
and is one better than the other?
