Do you have monitoring software to see what your present
temperatures are?

When my AMD processor goes over 50*C (max is 85*or 90?*C)
I start to do something about it... YMMV...

I like (among other things) six inches clearance behind my computer
and at least three inches on one side... This gives the air somewhere
to "go" as it blows out of the case and eliminates the possibility of
back pressure fighting the fan(s)...

This advise is similar to what they say about "crowding" the air flow
around a refrigerator... (You "can", but it will burn up quicker, and
the slower air flow will help the dirt to get trapped easier...)
