Well, I removed IPX from the WIN2k machine only, and things worked just
great with just TCP/IP, (needed for internet connections.)  I was trying to
match the customer's environment with the IPX, but if I can integrate
seamlessly with just TCP/IP what the heck!  (As a gamer I have always
favored IPX over NetBEUI for no good reason at all.  The customer also is
using IPX for whatever reason when their system was originally set up.)

You would be using NTFS instead of FAT.

Security is definately not an issue, seeing everyone elses computer is -in
this environment.  There is no server, and for some reason they want to
treat the group as a massive "virtual server."

I have never had to set this before...what is a common setting?
