Laurel,
The touchpad can be accessed by
either an icon near the clock or by
going to Control Panel.
There are two basic touchpads used by
Toshiba, one is ALPS and another is
Synaptics. You can download the
drivers for the correct one on the
Toshiba support site. I find the model
you listed appears to be incomplete
and you will need the full model
number to locate support on the web
site. Also most times drivers are
operating system specific.
All that being said the adjustment
you need to make is disable tap,
HTH,
Hal Seabolt

Subject: [PCBUILD] touchpad

I have a Toshiba Satellite A13 and
have difficulty with the curser moving
to different areas of document as I
type. I jumps around and I can't tell
if I am accidentally "stroking" the
touchpad with my thumb as I type or
what. Anybody have suggestions as to
how to eliminate this annoying
problem. I am constantly having to cut
and paste to make a coherent document.
Thanks as always for your expertise.
Laurel
