I recently acquired the above camera through
Egghead Computers.  It's a factory refurbished
model (no problem I guess).

The camera itself appears to be functioning properly,
but, when I try to hook it up to my system, the
software says that it can't find the camera.  The Com
port is known to be working as I use it for my BACK-UPS,
which I disable when using it for the camera.

No matter what I do, updated software from Epson's
Web Site,, follow all the instructions on the web site, etc,
nothing will make this camera recognized from the
Computer.

I've sent a message to [log in to unmask] but so far
have not received a response.

Can anyone comment on this problem, or on wether Epson
provides any decent support to it's customers.
