>my name is floyd carlyle and sometimes you need to try
various drive letters d:\setup, e:\setup until you find your
drive letter usually when you boot it shows which cd is
assigned a drive letter. however you can download for
free this great program called the ultimate bootdisk
it has programs which you can used to format and
install windows. you need to download and make a
bootdisk for 95,98 also get and learn all the informa
tion from their website startdisk.com. there is one
option to get cab files and the program gets the cab
files from the cd 95,98. you than can install windows.
you need to learn about all the functions of the ultimate
bootdisk. it has saved me lots of time and fustration
usually when a regular bootdisk wont work it will. also
read the readme file on the cd from microsoft it has
directions and helps and can sometimes help i have
printed one for each os i use because they outta know.
hope this helps you like it has me.
