I bought a reconditioned IBM T40 Thinkpad from Tiger Direct. It came with two partitions, 1.Win XP, and 2. a partition to restore the operating system. I'm very happy with it except for one problem:

The mouse pad has a tap feature which is overly sensitive. This causes undesired and sometimes unknown input to the machine. I find it completely unreliable unless I use an external mouse, then it is perfect. I've been unable to permanently disable or desensitize the tap feature.

Does anybody know a way to do that with a setting or maybe a different or 3rd party mousepad driver or ? ? ?

Thanks
