I use a 3Com Dual Analog Remote Router on a small Win98 peer to peer network.
This router can be found for less than $100.00. I believe it supports up to
25 users (maybe more). It is a router with NAT, PAT, and bridging built in.
It also has 2 modems built in so if you have 2 phone lines and your ISP
supports multiple connections, you can effectively double your bandwidth to
near ISDN speeds (without the complications). It can also be configured to
let remote users dial in. It is easy to set up, configure and modify as
needed, and I have had no problems, plus none of the PCs have to be ON any
more to act as the ICS server!

Good Luck
Jay Merritt
