Earlier I posted a Windows98SE problem with it not shutting down. I found out (with your help) that in my config.sys file there is a line which states DEVICE=C:\windows\EMM386.EXE. When I un-check this box, everything works fine. It starts up and shuts down properly. However during start-up it states "memory manager not detected"---SB live emulation requires emm386 or simular---SB live emulation driver not loaded. There seems to be a conflict between the two. How should this "dummy" fix this problem? It seems to work otherwise. Thanks for any and all help. Ed Bogert
