I'm having some absolutely bizarre problems with this external ISDN
modem. (A 3com Impact IQ). I have managed to determine with 3com's
tech support that the modem itself is fine. Here's what it does:

When I connect at 64K, I get great throughput, all the way up to my 64K
limit. However, when I connect at 128K, I get less throughput than a
14.4 Modem! I've uninstalled and reinstalled DUN once, which is what
got me to this point. (Before that, I couldn't connect at 64K with the
external either.) Oddly enough, I thought this had solved the problem,
things worked great, for about 5 hours, then the throughput dropped
through the floor. Disconnecting and reconnecting didn't help any,
finally dropping back to 64K did though.

I had similiar problems with an internal ISDN modem, I could download
great at 64K, but 128K connections wouldn't work. So, I got the new
modem, even got an accelerated port card for it, but to no avail.
Anyone got any idea what I can do to solve the problem? I'm about ready
to give up and reformat and reinstall everything, but would like to
avoid that if I possibly can! :)

Other odd things I'm seeing: The mouse locks up and doesn't work now
and then until it's uninstalled and I reboot. (Serial Intellimouse.)
My 36x SCSI CD-Rom drive is only giving around 60KB/s transfer speeds,
which seems really low. Oh, and I've been having realy memory problems
lately, never did before.

Things I've done: Upgraded DUN as far as I can, Updated the Winsock to
Winsock 2, uninstalled/reinstalled DUN (Rebooted after each step too.)

TIA

Kevin
