Send them to me... :) You need a way to transfer the video to the PC
(Capture card) then software to burn to a DVD Writer.
Mostly the same for film but you need a device to capture the film to the
computer or camcorder then transfer the video to DVD.
8mm film can be done for about $.10 a foot, 16mm is more.

Subject: [PCBUILD] video to DVD

PCBuilders,

How does one transfer VHS movies to DVD? AT this point the specific project
that I may be involved in is a little vague; so this is just a general
information question. Can it be done with software and cables on a PC?
Or is there a separate player/recorder that will make that transfer.

What about 16 or 8 mm movies. How can those be transferred to DVD?
