Hi List,
I want to start carrying my laptop (running Win98SE) back and forth
between work and home.
Is there a way to select my network settings depending on where I am
located at the time.
Both locations use Ethernet, home is 10 Mb and work is 100 Mb.
At home I have just a basic setup, no special settings, and work uses
dedicated addresses, IP, WINS, Gateway, Etc.
I have heard of something I think was called a network switcher program.
Is there a freeware version of this?
Or is there a file I can copy that holds all of the settings I can swap
out when I need it.
Thanks,
Clint Worley
