Sorry, i forgot one important step in...my message dated Sat, 13 Jan 2007 22:30:42 -0500 with subject "My hard
drive" 

at the A: or C: prompt remove the boot disk AND THEN press ctrl+alt+del (all together) AND immediately therafter press the appropriate key for entering your BIOS. on the screen select "boot" and set the first boot device as your cdrom drive. before you save and exit insert your operating system cd in your cdrom drive, then save and exit.

it will boot from your cd and now follow instructions on the screen.
