Thanks a lot for the help. I indeed tried to use Easy CD Creator 5
(installed a while back but never got it to work right) the same day when
this happened. I use Nero 5.5 most of time. I switched to Easy CD so that I
can make an image of my compilation. All the menu would blink and I
couldn't select any menu item at all. So, I quitted the program. Nothing
immediate happened so I don't know if it's directly related or not. While I
was trying to fix the problem, I uninstalled a few programs and EasyCD
creator was one of them. I will try to fix Windows 2000 as Patrick
suggested and go from there.
