Susan,

Toshibas are not the fastest and they are one of the more expensive brands
BUT...... they are rugged, durable, and reliable!!!

In all my years of traveling on planes, my Toshiba's took a tremendous
beating and not one of them failed me.  In fact I still have all three,
including an eleven year old T1000.  The battery died years ago, but I
still use it to program and troubleshoot industrial control systems.
