Yes, I'm sure the C:drive is the destination drive for the installation
and I'm also logged on with a User Account that has Administrative
privileges. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Are you definately trying to install the program(s) to your hard drive?
I had a friend who was trying to install programs to her A: drive.
(Don't
even ask, I've learnt not to, haha)
