This requires no additional downloads.

At the bottom of the Sign On screen, is where you configure the connection type.
Set it up to use LAN/TCPIP settings. Other than that, all will appear as usual.

I've been running AOL verion 7 on an XP box and an ME box and version 6 on a 98SE box. I use Verizon DSL with a linksys router. Never had an issue related to the broadband connection.
