Hi,
I went to

http://h20015.www2.hp.com/hub_search/product.jhtml?lc=en&pagetype=compaqij90217404&submit.y=2&submit.x=6&cc=us

to download the driver software. It did not mention anything about USB/LPT. Mine is connected from LPT.

I did not get any manual or user guide from there.

I bought it before merger of HP and Compaq (during the year of 1999).
