I noticed that cable modem data light blinks when I FTPed files between 2
PCs (or Mac). With router installed, cable modem does not blink when I FTP
files the same way. It appears that it did go thru Road Runner before. Now,
my FTP upload between machines is over 500K while it was 25K (cap set by
Road Runner) with a hub.

Thanks for the explanation. I will keep them for possible troubleshooting
in the future.
