If you the the original owner of the notebook and properly registered, the easiest and quickest 
way is to pick up the phone and call your local Acer support center. Look up their phone number in 
their Web site. I once server a client who forget a password on his HP, called HP, gave the registration info
and it was solved. Hope this help.
