installation is very easy.  I did a google search for "install western digital EIDE drive" without the quotes and came up a lot of hits. This one is on WD's web site- http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=install+western+digital+EIDE+drive.  It is an Adobe PDF file so you'll need Adobe reader for it.  You can download that for free if you don't have it from www.adobe.com.  If that's too hard, there are hundreds of hits on the google search.
