Tracy,
I have just remembered that one of my m/b's had a switch (jumper) on it
which had to be changed to allow the flashing of the bios. Maybe yours is
the same?
I would assume that this switch/jumper would cause the bios to be 'write
protected' until altered?
If there is such a switch/jumper on the board, the manual should refer to it
somewhere.

Everything goes along fine until it asks if I want to save my current BIOS-
I say "Y"- name it, (oldbios.bin) then it starts the save process but ends
with "Can't File Source File!"-------
