I have Dsl, and my ISP is alltel.I use a Cisco 678
router.
  What Im trying to do is open ports 2300-2400.Alltel
is telling me that the Cisco 678 ,doesnt have the
capacity to handle that many ports.
  The purpose of all this is so I can go online and be
a server on Game Spy lite so I can play Dirt Track
Racing.
 Ive downloaded the nat generator. When I try to open
the ports, it screws the computer up. Ive also typed
in all 100 ports by hand. When I do this and reboot
the computer, i loose my connection completly and then
I have to reconfigure the Dsl all over again , so I
can go back on line.
 I was told it can be done. Can it?I would really ,
really appericate any help.
