hi list members, my new asus  mobo  model P4GE-MX keeps on detecting (1)"pci system management bus device" (2) "pci usb bus device". it keeps on asking for drivers for these two devices. i am sure the cd which came with the mobo does not have any such drivers and in any case i have installed all the drivers when installing the mobo.my os is win 98 se. the problem is it is very annoying to keep on "cancelling" these two detections. only after cancellation does windows load. shall appreciate any light shed especially where i can get the drivers.
the mobo manual lists (1)northbridge:intel 845 ge (2)southbridge:intel ICH4
(FW82801DB). The manual obviously is a general one and perhaps i should open up the case and see which chipset is actually there?--thanks and have a nice day.
