It is cheaper to buy a new case with a power supply in it at a Market Pro
Computer Fair. Check out the website http://www.marketpro.com/

Subject: [PCBUILD] Installing a Power Supply < advice please >

So I have a PS on order and will be delivered on Monday. This is the only
thing that I've never replaced in this particular computer. On the
'nospin' site, is there a FAQ about the installation of AT power supplies??
I have looked and can not find what I'm looking for. Otherwise the site has
been extremely helpful in the past.

I had to order a very proprietary PS. The system I'm replacing the
disabled one in is a three year old Acer Aspire <midi-tower, P133 96mb ram,
ect..> that gave me trouble from 'day one'. So I'm NOT looking forward to
this task_but a family member wants to use the computer and it'd doing me
no good in the box. AND, the only place I could even find or order this PS
from is National Parts. Apparently the *only* one who supplies Acer with
their replacement parts. I would have liked to have another choice since
the PS costs $80.00.

Any insight and suggestions about this installation would be VERY much
appreciated.

Thanks!
