Hello every one.

I have installed Zone Alarm but, I forgot the pass word, I can't get to my internet and I can't retrieve my email either I am running Windows ME I tried to start in Safe mode but I couldn't it doesn't work when I follow the instructions, if any body have any suggestions I would very much like your help I am getting really Frustrated 

And my other question is how can I save my pictures and my music I and my Favorites I think I am going to Reformat my HD to start from beginning is this a good idea backup of the most important files is there a step by step instructions I have reformatted my computer before but I always end up loosing all and this time I don't want too
